During the pandemic, the federal government changed the National School Lunch Program, allowing schools to provide free meals to all students, regardless of their family’s financial status. However, for the 2022-23 school year, the National School Lunch Program will revert to its pre-pandemic procedures. As a result, families must apply to participate in the program that offers free or reduced-cost meals to students. All children in households receiving Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) benefits are eligible for free meals. Additionally, foster, homeless, runaway, or migrant children are eligible for free meals. Children may receive free or reduced-price meals if their household’s income is within limits on the Federal Income Eligibility Guidelines. For example, your children may qualify for free or reduced-price meals if your household income falls at or below the limits on this chart.

Lunch: $2.80 Reduced Price Lunch: $0.40
Milk: $0.50
Secondary Schools:

Lunch: $3.15 Reduced Price Lunch: $0.40
