Act 17 of 2023 has officially designated the interchange of U.S. Routes 22/322 with Arch Rock Road in Fermanagh Township, Juniata County, as the Trooper Jacques F. Rougeau, Jr. Memorial Interchange. Pennsylvania State Police Sgt. Lucas Rankin expressed this significant development.

The naming ceremony is set to take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 22, at the Pennsylvania State Police station located at 140 Stoney Creek Drive, Mifflintown. The event will be attended by various dignitaries, including Rep. Perry Stambaugh (R-Perry/Juniata), Sen. Judy Ward (R-Blair/Fulton/Huntingdon/Juniata/Mifflin), and representatives of the Rougeau family and Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

For those unable to attend in person, the ceremony will be live-streamed on repperrystambaugh.com, as mentioned by media contact Jennifer Fitch. The organizers aim to ensure widespread access to the event, barring any technical difficulties.

This initiative seeks to honor the memory and sacrifice of Trooper Jacques F. Rougeau, Jr., and to commemorate his service and dedication.
