State Rep. Perry A. Stambaugh | Pennsylvania 86th Legislative District
Rep. Perry Stambaugh, representing the 86th State House District in Pennsylvania, has been appointed to the House Transportation Committee. This committee is instrumental in shaping transportation policy across the state, focusing on highway infrastructure and funding allocations.
Stambaugh emphasized the importance of his new role due to "the mountain of deferred highway projects across the 86th State House District" and noted that over 70 percent of residents in Perry and Juniata counties commute outside their district for work. He stated, "My involvement provides our region a voice that can have a significant impact on our transportation system, including roads, bridges, and railways, and also on local economic development projects."
In addition to his position on the Transportation Committee, Stambaugh serves on several other committees: the House Commerce Committee as Republican secretary; Environmental Resources and Energy Committee; Labor and Industry Committee; as well as the Labor and Industry Employment and Unemployment Compensation Subcommittee.
