National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs

Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) will hold a virtual information session for students interested in its Aviation Science and Professional Pilot programs on Wednesday, Oct. 26, from 6 to 8 p.m. In addition, prospective students are invited to an in-person tour of the airport site, located at Hangar 7 at the Lehigh Valley International Airport, from 5 to 6 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 2.

 At the info session, interested individuals will learn more about:

  • Available aviation degrees
  • Courses within each degree
  • Costs of aviation flight training
  • Benefits of aviation flight training
  • Aviation career opportunities 
The ground and flight training courses required for the issuance of an airmen certification within the Aviation - Professional Pilot and Aviation Science degree programs are licensed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Classes are held at LCCC’s airport site in Hangar 7 of the Lehigh Valley International Airport. 

The college owns two simulators: A FRASCA 141 single engine trainer equipped with GPS technology and visual display and a Redbird FMX full-motion flight simulator with visual display. You can see these simulators during the airport site tour.
