Ryley Reisinger, William Reisinger, and Katelynn Leber traveled to Washington, D.C., to participate in the leadership conference alongside FFA members from across the nation.
While at the conference, the student workshops focused on topics that encouraged students to be “changemakers” in their schools and communities and gave them the knowledge and tools to do so. They also learned about advocating for something you are passionate about and created a living-to-serve plan that will allow them to implement advocacy. While at the conference, they also visited Arlington National Cemetery, The United States Capitol Building, some of the Smithsonian Museums, and the historical Washington D.C. monuments and memorials such as Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, Vietnam Wall, World War I and II, and Martin Luther King.
