County of Perry recently issued the following announcement.

American Rescue Plan Act

The Perry County Board of Commissioners are hosting two Town Hall meetings concerning the American Rescue Plan Act and invite you to attend. The meetings will be taking place on:

• September 22, 2021 @ 7:00 p.m. at the Newport Fire Hall
• September 29, 2021 @ 7:00 p.m. at the Landisburg Fire Hall

You are encouraged to attend and share in the discussion on funding critical issues facing County residents, businesses, and organizations.

Additionally, public hearings will be held to hear proposals for funding.  The public hearings will be held on:

• October 1, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
• October 4, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. AND 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
