This annual event is an outstanding opportunity for parish catechetical leaders from throughout the Diocese to learn, pray, and worship together, attend informative workshops, network, welcome new C/DREs, and renew old friendships and acquaintances.
From 7:00 am – 8:15 am there will be an orientation session for first year C/DREs and C/DREs new to the diocese. Returning C/DREs will join first year and new C/DREs beginning at 8:30 am. The convocation will include:
- Mass
- Workshop sessions on various administrative and catechetical topics offered by presenters with expertise in these areas
- The always-popular “lightning round” / micro-workshops by experienced C/DREs
- Networking among C/DREs
- Review of key trends in catechesis both nationally and diocesan
- Policy Updates
- Food, fellowship, and prayer with fellow C/DREs
- and more….
