52 percent of applicants to Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital School of Nursing were admitted for fall 2018

At Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital School of Nursing, 50 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 86 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The two-year private not-for-profit institution in Lewistown enrolled 51 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. No undergraduates were transferred from another college or university.

100 percent of undergraduates are residents of Pennsylvania.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (96 percent) and Asian (2 percent).

The school admitted 52 percent of the 73 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 84 percent enrolled.
