Senator Greg Rothman has recently shared several updates through his social media account, covering topics ranging from historical commemorations to local infrastructure projects.
On June 2, 2025, Senator Rothman expressed his enthusiasm about hosting Governor Schweiker for a briefing on the America250_PA initiative. He highlighted the importance of Pennsylvania’s role in the nation’s founding and noted Governor Schweiker’s efforts in preparing for upcoming festivities that aim to celebrate liberty and honor past achievements while looking toward the future.
Later that day, he mentioned a visit by the Middlesex Mountain Lions to the Capitol. In his tweet, Rothman described their busy schedule involving legislative sessions, committee meetings, and a tour of the Capitol complex. He conveyed hope that all participants had an enjoyable experience and appreciated seeing familiar faces from Cumberland Valley School District (@CVSDnews).
On June 4, 2025, Rothman informed constituents about upcoming infrastructure work in Perry County. According to his post, construction on Route 850 is scheduled to commence on June 9. The project involves lane restrictions as necessary between 9 am and 3 pm. This work is part of a broader three-bridge project featuring box culvert replacements on Routes 850 in Carroll Township and Route 274 in Spring Township, along with repairs to the Route 34 bridge over the Juniata River in Newport.
The America250_PA initiative marks Pennsylvania’s preparations for celebrating America’s semiquincentennial anniversary with events highlighting historical contributions.
