Senator Greg Rothman, a member of the Pennsylvania State Senate, shared updates on his recent activities through several posts on his social media account.
On March 11, 2026, Rothman expressed gratitude for an opportunity to observe wildlife research conducted by the Pennsylvania Game Commission. He wrote, “Thanks to the @Pennsylvaniagame for inviting members of the Senate Game & Fisheries Cmtee to shadow their black bear research efforts today, which included monitoring & tagging bear cubs & sows. We appreciate the commission’s ongoing work to keep our populations healthy!”
The following day, March 12, 2026, Rothman promoted his regular newsletter and encouraged constituents to subscribe. He posted, “Check out this week’s e-news! https://t.co/DNOBxrNaEh Sign up to have my e-newsletter sent directly to you: https://t.co/8sNiGRWNPv https://t.co/brsoMBwc1X”
On March 13, 2026, Rothman recognized a community milestone by celebrating Myrtle Holman’s centennial birthday. In his post he stated, “Happy 100th Birthday to Myrtle Holman! She is truly impressive, sharp, and tenacious! We were honored to present a #PASenate citation during her celebration with family and friends this week.”
The Pennsylvania Game Commission is responsible for managing and protecting wildlife resources in the state. The Senate Game & Fisheries Committee oversees legislation related to hunting and fishing regulations as well as conservation efforts.
Rothman’s engagement with local residents and participation in community events are consistent with the responsibilities of state legislators who often recognize significant achievements within their districts and maintain communication through newsletters.
