On Wednesday, March 12, former Mifflin County High School standout Xavier Smith’s current college team, the Millersville Marauders, won 8-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Jefferson Rams.
The game took place at Alumni Field. This was their second matchup against the Rams this season.
The Marauders’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 7 p.m. at Cooper Park against Lock Haven Bald Eagles.

Pennsylvania lawmakers are moving forward with new measures to simplify the state’s permitting process, building on previous reforms aimed at reducing bureaucratic delays.
Senator Greg Rothman (R-34) announced that a significant change to the school funding formula has been approved by the Pennsylvania state Senate and is expected to become law as part of the Fiscal Year 2025-26 budget.
